Street Hope was started out of an urgent request for help from a group of women trapped in extreme poverty and trafficking in Kenya. This group of women were desperate for hope and help and it began a journey to discover how to partner to provide dignified empowerment. It has evolved from business training/small business grants to a two-year program of mentorship, life skills, and vocational training to empower the participants to make sustainable life change for themselves and their families.
Street Hope Foundation exists to offer hope, empower women, and change lives. Street Hope serves women trapped in extreme poverty, unhealthy relationships and trafficking including survival prostitution, in order to provide dignified opportunities to participants, so that their lives, families, and communities are transformed.
